Klinker for façade cladding is part of the 90% façade bonus
The benefit consists in a tax deduction, to be divided into 10 constant annual instalments, equal to 90% of the expenses incurred in 2020 and 2021 for interventions aimed at the recovery or restoration of the external façade of existing buildings located in specific areas.
Only interventions on opaque structures of the façade, balconies or ornaments and friezes are eligible for the benefit.
In particular, these are the A and B zones identified by Article 2 of Decree No. 1444/1968 of the Minister of Public Works:
includes the parts of the territory affected by urban agglomerations of historical, artistic or environmental value or portions thereof, including the surrounding areas that may be considered an integral part, due to these characteristics, of the agglomerations
includes other parts of the territory that are built on, even only in part, considering as such those areas in which the covered surface area of existing buildings is not less than 12.5 per cent of the land area of the zone and in which the spatial density is greater than 1.5 mc/sq.m.
